Dear Members

I am kindly asking for a good company name and contacts for the kitchen hood fire extinguisher system to submit me with their useful catalogs.

Dear sir, no trouble at all. The system is designed to put a fire out even before it reaches the duct, hence the fact that there is a UL listing with both the exhaust fan running as well as shut off. All manufacturers of UL-300 approved systems will recommend to leave the fan running though. it is usually the local AHJ demanding to shut it off.

Dear sir,
usually kitchen systems having UL-300 approval and being designed according NFPA 17a and 96 have a listing with both the exhaust fan running and switched off. however it comes down to the local AHJ. having said that manufacturers recommend to leave the exhaust fan running for better spreading of the agent throughout the duct work.
