Fire & Safety Group is proud to present a new
business opportunity that will enable you to compete more effectively in
the Global Fire and Safety Industry.
The new Group Concept offers unique E-based interactive
marketing, product sales outlet, customer management and control tools
for small and medium sized companies in the Fire and Safety Industry
that would like to expand and enhance their products' market-reach and
business.
The Fire & Safety Group global services, products
and technical information exchanges are open to selected worldwide
manufacturers presented on a Group Member website platform that includes
all of their products and advertising online and in print. This
members' center provides both regional and international smaller
companies easy worldwide access to specifiers, designers, engineering
companies, contractors and customers, thus enhancing their competitive
edge.
The Group Member Services include:

Listing
your product in the Fire & Safety Group interactive catalog
(Product Tree) directly connected to the product tracking and search
engines. This tracking system as well as the search engine is
available to all the visitors to view the listed products by clicking
on the Product
Tree and scrolling the entire product tree, or by searching on Product
Search. Group Members can post an unlimited number of products.

Group
Members benefit from a preview of the posted messages for Buy
& Sell and RFQ
before they are posted online for all the visitors to view, thus
having the advantage of first acceptance or refusal of the business
transactions.

Optional
specially designed member website that includes general company
information, list of products and relevant information, e-tools for
updating news and managing distributors' list as frequently as
required.

Your Group Member username and password will be sent
after you sign the Group Member Agreement.
Use your Group Member username and password to login.

First visit to the Group Member Center, we suggest you proceed in the
following order:
1. Create new site template
2. Change company details
3. Add Products
4. Add News
5. Add Distributors
At any step you can contact us for help and directions.
Create New Site Template
(if included in the Group Member package)
By letting you design your own website, we give you
the opportunity to put your own touch
into the ready format of our website. Select your preferred color,
pictures etc. If you have no preference, we will be very happy to select
them for you.
This step is a one-time step. Following the receipt
of all the information, the EBD webmasters will start working on your
site and within two weeks your site will be ready to go Online.

Select a main color for your site. Bear in mind
the colors of the company logo.

Upload a file with your logo (GIF or JPG format)
-
Upload a word/text file with the company profile that will be
inserted to the About Us page
-
Upload a word/text file with the text and images that should appear
on the front page (this document should not be larger then one third of
a page).
-
Click "send the information!" button when done.
You can send the information in pieces but remember
no work can be done until all the information has been received.
Change
Company Details
Fire & Safety Group Customer Service personnel
included your information into the records. Please review/update your
company information. Change any information that is no longer
valid. Always go to this page to make changes to company details.
PRODUCTS
Add Products
List your product in the Fire & Safety Group
interactive catalog (Product Tree) directly connected to the product
tracking and search engines. This tracking system as well as the search
engine is available to all the visitors to view the listed products by
clicking on the Product Tree
and scrolling the entire product tree or by
searching on Product
Search. Only Group Member products are in this
Product Center.
Group Members themselves post their products details; pictures, quality
standards and other relevant information on the database and visitors
conduct product searches according to various parameters. When a product
is found, the visitor is directed to all the Member's sites that post
the product.
Group Members can add as many products as possible following these steps:
Each product must be entered separately.

Give each product a unique name
-
Give each product a unique code
-
Add one picture (jpg or gif formats only) browsing your
computer
-
Add one pdf file (if available) browsing your computer
-
Add product information in text format into the box below
-
Select the relevant standards
-
The product is automatically stored (Uncheck if you don't want this
product to appear in your store)

Click on the "Add" button to submit the information.
Update
Product Info
In order to be up to date with you product
information, you'll be able to go back and forth and change the info,
pictures and PDF of your product.
Select the product you want to update from the list of products and
update its information following the same procedure as the ADD PRODUCT.
New data (including picture and pfd) will automatically replace existing
information.
Add
Products To Your Store
The benefits of this feature are:

Expand the product range offered by your company with selected
products from other members of the Fire & Safety Group (upon
agreement).
-
Add Products to your store from some of the world's top manufacturers
who are Fire & Safety Group Member.
-
Encourage other Group Members to sell your products.
-
Add/ Remove your companies products from your store.
Add products to your site and product tree by
following these steps:
-
Add your products to your store: Your selection of products has been
added automatically to your store. To change this selection -
add/remove manually products from your store.
-
Add other members' products into your store upon
agreement: If you
have an agreement with one of the other Group Members (facilitated by
Fire & Safety Group), select his name to enter an unlimited number
of his products. These products will now appear on your product tree and
web site.
Company
or Product News
News are posted in order to let the Fire & Safety
Group visitors/users know all about your new developments and products.
Use this tool as often as you need.
Add News
News from your company are posted online at your
website. Five stories appear simultaneously, the others
remain inactive. You manage this resource completely: write the news,
design its appearance, choose the date it will first appear, and upload
it.
Update News
Page
Edit/update news page on your website by clicking
± to open the text window where you can add or delete information from
the article.
Note: select the five news stories you want to
present online.
DISTRIBUTORS
Add New
Distributor
Fire & Safety Group's goal is to maximize your
company's exposure to the world. By having as many distributors as
possible in the various parts of the world, you'll be able to reach a
larger group of people.
Feel free to add as many distributors as possible. By having all your
distributors listed here you'll be also able to keep them well informed
with the latest news from your company.
Update
Distributors List
In order to update your distributor's list, select the
name you want to change and update its details.
Select the distributor you want to update from the list of
distributors and
update its information following the same procedure as the ADD
DISTRIBUTOR.
New data will automatically replace existing
information.
Distributors
By Country
View the list of distributors by country.
Add
News for Distributors
Keep your distributors well informed with news from
your company. News is viewed online at your website. Distributors
receive email whenever you upload a new message. Include your email
address to ensure a rapid response from the distributors. You manage this resource completely: write the news, design its
appearance, choose who will receive it, and upload it.
Update
News for Distributors
Edit/update
news for Distributors by clicking ± to open the
text window where you can add or delete information from the article.
